Other VERY cool news for 4/11/2011:
The tires arrived at Otto's BMW on Friday. The Michelin Pilot Super Sports are going on the car today, as well as the track-worthy brake pads. I will tell you more about the new pads after I get a few miles on them and I have established an initial impression. They are an all-new manufacturer and compound for me, so I am excited to give them a try.
Summit Point (with the Delaware Valley Chapter BMW CCA) is this coming weekend. Photos and a full report will be issued ASAP after the event!

ReplyDeleteOn behalf of Mr Hipcheck and the entire SPEEDCO engine earing team, I must unequivocally express our disappointment that your photographs appear to show that none of our high quality SPEEDCO products have been installed for this photo shoot. Since you have acknowledged receiving them in a previous post, we are well aware that they could have been - in fact should have been -installed in accordance with our sponsorial contract. This is in violation of said contract, specifically, paragraph 1.7.c which states "SPEEDCO products must be installed for all official appearances and for all competitive activities."
While we realize that having this publicity done without our products featured may make your fellow competitors unaware of the true potential of the Otto's BMW SPEEDCO Only If It's Easy Racing M3, it is still outside the bounds of your contractual obligations to SPEEDCO. Should such violations of the SPEEDCO sponsorial contract continue, we will be forced to seek redress as appropriate under the law.

ReplyDeleteYou will be happy to know that the SPEEDO bumper mounted aerodynamic splitter was fixed to the car for the testing on April 16-18.
It was responsible not ONLY for "The Speediest Speed we could Speed", but also resulted in the death of several thousand insects.
Unfortunately, the mirror cozies were unilaterally deemed both ILLEGAL and IMMORAL, due to the fact that Americans uniformly believe that all Germans are perverts. The mirror condoms were summarily confiscated, sent to a lab for testing, and came back positive for "Germanity".
They remain in quarantine in a government vault while congress decides what to do.
